Introduction to Dr. Ambrocio
Dr. Ambrocio is a board-certified rheumatologist who has been in practice since 2008. Besides providing rheumatology care, he specializes in in-office infusion services to treat various conditions such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and osteoporosis.  This allows our patients access to the most advanced drug treatments available for arthritis and autoimmune disease in a safe, comfortable, and convenient location.

Dr. Ambrocio was a staff rheumatologist for a year at a multispecialty medical group in Virginia before returning home in 2009 and establishing Deryll U. Ambrocio, M.D., Inc.  His main office is at the Ala Moana Building in Honolulu.  In March 2010, in response to a growing need for rheumatology services on the west side of Oahu, he established a satellite clinic where he sees patients on Wednesday afternoons.

Dr. Ambrocio grew up in Kalihi where he graduated from Farrington High School, home of the Governors.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Seattle University, a Jesuit university, before attending the John A. Burns School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree in 2003.  After completing his internal medicine residency at JABSOM in 2006, he attended the University of VA in Charlottesville for his rheumatology fellowship.  Dr. Ambrocio is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

On a personal note, Dr. Ambrocio is devoted to health and wellness and balances his busy schedule with activities such as hiking, running and weightlifting.  He grew up in a bilingual home and can speak and understand Ilocano.
